Hiking On Honeymoon IslandĪway from the beach, Honeymoon Island State Park has two popular hiking trails known as the Osprey And Pelican Trails leading to nesting colonies of osprey and pelicans with a stunning view of the Gulf of Mexico. Honeymoon Island State Park Getting to Honeymoon Island State Parkįrom Tampa, the closest city to Honeymoon Island State Park is Dunedin, a two-and-a-half-mile causeway to the park’s entrance.
